Kihikihi to host FEI Open Forum >>

The Kihikihi International Horse Trial is very proud to host Giuseppe Della Chiesa (ITA), chairman of the FEI Eventing Committee, and Catrin Norinder (SWE), FEI Director of Eventing & Olympic, who will be chairing the FEI Open Forum at the event.

In preparation for 2013, the FEI Eventing Committee are seeking to discuss the main topics that may form part of the revisions to the FEI Rules for Eventing next year.

As part of its consultation process, the FEI Eventing Committee is hosting a series of open forums. Three forums have already taken place in Germany, Mexico and Australia. The fourth of these forums is to be held at the Kihikihi International Horse Trial in New Zealand.

The forums are open to National Federations, Organising Committees, riders and officials. Feedback from all parties is very much appreciated to allow full involvement by all for the future development of the sport of Eventing.

“The future development of Eventing will be at the heart of these forums” explains FEI Eventing Committee chair Giuseppe Della Chiesa (ITA).
“The feedback we have received so far from the global Eventing community has been extremely constructive. We are looking forward to discussing these key issues face-to-face and in further detail at the forums.”

Following the final forum in May 2012, the recommended rules revisions for Eventing will be finalised. These will be presented to the FEI General Assembly in November 2012 for implementation on 1 January 2013.
